OMG Its Christmas

Happy Christmas to everyone, even you Mr. scrooge (and uncle scrooge McDuck),who will soon redeem himself of all his years of crochetyness. Well, today is a pretty good day. Yesterday wasn't. I was really depressed yesterday all day and couldn't put my finger on it. I had a few things that I could blame but mostly I just felt like crap. Anyway, I met with a few people for prayer last night and found out that it is kind of going around up here. After prayer though I felt markedly better. Went over to a friends house, had some wine, took the car to an undisclosed location and practiced drifting, looked at the stars, got the cops called on us, avoided the cops (actually we had to talk to him but he was none the wiser that we were the culprits), hid the car, played cards and went to bed. This week has been kind of a tough one for me. I can't say exactly why but I've really been hit hard lately...if you know me I'd be happy to tell you whats going on but I don't want to get too comfortable with this medium. Anyway, today is 10000x better and I'm excited for Christmas. Mc Jordan will be here this afternoon, a fact which thrills me pink and tickles me to no end. My internet friend date was this past weekend. I had a good time and think I made a good friend out of it. We spent time checking out a new city (Greenville, SC). It has actually been there for quite a while but was new to us. It is also the home of Charles H. Townes, inventor of the laser beam. A laser is a device that controls the way that energized atoms release photons. "Laser" is an acronym for light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation, which describes very succinctly how a laser works.
Anyway Addie, I had fun despite the awkwardness of jumpstarting a friendship from the internet. This weeke has also made possible several christmas parties. I got to hear Kamran Yaraei play the guitar and sing in Persian at Suzy's shindig. I also made it to the Joyners party where we had tons o fun. I stayed up way to late but it was good to see Aaryn and Anna Joyner back in the Falls. Thank you Father for ,Jesus, for friends and your Holy Spirit
